Why this exists
The seller knows things you cannot see in a test drive.
A car can be washed and priced as if nothing is wrong. The costly faults do not show up in twenty minutes of driving. The seller does not have to point them out.
That the car moves today. Not what it needs in six months.
That somebody wrote in it. Not the state of the car in front of you.
A straight answer, written down, before you pay.

How it works
Three steps. No surprises in the middle.
Send the details
Send the car, where it is, and when somebody can open it. We agree the price before we start.
We check it where it stands
Sixty to ninety minutes at the seller's place. Watch everything. Nothing happens where you cannot see it.
The same day
Plain words. Photographs. An answer for each area. What each fault would cost to fix. You pay after you read it.
What you get
The report is the whole product.
Every fault comes with a cost range. That range is your bargaining power.
A seller can argue with an opinion. A photograph, a reading and a price are harder to argue with.
- What each fault would cost to fix, as a range.
- A answer for each of the six areas, in plain words.
- Photographs of anything that matters.
- What to bargain on, and what should make you walk away.
- Anything we could not check, written down instead of left out.

Questions about this service
What buyers ask us before booking.
Is this the same as the government roadworthiness inspection?
No. This is not the government road test and it is not a certificate. It is one independent opinion on one car, written for one buyer. If the law needs a certificate, we will tell you to go and get one.
Do you work for the seller?
No. The buyer pays, so the buyer is who we answer to. We take nothing from sellers or dealers. We do not sell repairs. So we have no reason to invent a fault or to hide one.
What if you find nothing wrong?
Then we say so, plainly. It is a good car. The price stays the same, because the work is the same.
What if I disagree with what you find?
The report is proof, not an argument. Every finding has a photograph and the readings behind it. So you and the seller look at the same facts.
Can I be there while you check it?
Yes. It is the best part. Watch, ask questions, and see what we see.
Which cars do you check?
Petrol, diesel and hybrid. If we are not right for your car, we will say so before you pay.
Do you guarantee the car?
No. Nobody honestly can. What we do promise is care and honesty. We looked properly. We tell you everything we found, even when it hurts the sale. We say plainly what we could not reach.
Pre-purchase inspection
- All six areas, in order. Each one gets its own answer.
- Every module scanned. Codes read and explained against live data.
- A road test where the seller allows one. What it showed is written down.
- A cost range for anything we find. Plus what to bargain on.
- Photographs of anything that matters.
- A written report the same day. Numbered, signed, yours to keep.
- Anything we could not check, written into the report.
A check is an opinion on the car at the time we looked at it. It is not the government road test. It is not a certificate. It is not a warranty. It does not tell you to buy or walk away. The risk is in the report. You decide.
Get the report before you pay.
Send the car and where it is. You get the report the same day. You pay after you read it. The car can be sold while you decide.
